rusengLONG DISTANCE RADIO AWARD
The diploma «LONG DISTANCE RADIO AWARD» was established by the Russian Digital Radio Club in order to encourage radio amateurs for active work on the air with radio fans of the world on distances over 10.000 kilometers using any modes of modulation. Dupe QSOs are counted on different HF and VHF bands and different types of modulation (different MODES according to the adif specification) on the same band. Call signs with identifiers (/ p, / m, / mm, / am, / qrp, / 6, etc.) of the same radio amateur are counted as different call signs. The applicant receives a single diploma with the possibility of repeatedly adding a number of radio links to the stickers as the conditions are met and the log is checked on the diploma site. The diploma is issued with six stickers indicating: in the first - from 10 to 50 QSOs, in the second - from 51 to 100 QSOs, in the third - from 101 to 150 QSOs, in the fourth - from 151 to 200 QSOs, in the fifth - from 201 to 250 QSOS, in the sixth - from 251 to 100000 QSOs. The diploma is issued to SWL operators. The crediting of QSOs (SWLs) for diploma begins on the date of the foundation of the Russian Digital Amateur Radio Club on March 21, 2014.

Checking the log and obtaining a diploma is implemented on the website awards.rdrclub.ru/request
To obtain diploma, you need to do and know the following:
• prepare for online verification a hardware log in ADI format with a volume of no more than 40 MB with all your QSOs for the period starting from the date March 21, 2014;
• in order for the QSO to be counted for the diploma, check the correctness of filling in the received locator in the <GRIDSQUARE> field;
• the distance is calculated using a short path between two six-digit locators; if only 4 characters are specified, a small square LL is added; you specify your locator in the diploma application, and the correspondent's locator is taken from the <GRIDSQUARE> field of your ADI file, and in its absence it is searched by file CALL3.TXT JTDX programs;
USEFUL TIPS for creating a log in ADI format:
- some logs form adi in accordance with the fields (columns) that are displayed in the hardware log;
- before creating an adi file, we recommend setting up the display of the hardware log by removing some data (for example, QTH, NAME and others) and leaving only the data necessary for the diploma application - thus, when forming an adif, the file weight will become significantly less;
• select "LONG DISTANCE RADIO AWARD" from the drop-down list, fill in all the fields of the download form without errors (please note: as you specify the first and last name, they will be displayed on the diploma), use the "REVIEW" button to find the necessary ADI file and "SEND" your journal for processing; if you misspelled your FIRST and LAST NAME and saw it on the diplomas you received, then contact the manager and ask him to correct your typos, email the manager of our diplomas awards(at)rdrclub.ru
