The diplomas «Russian Digital Radio Award» was established by the Russian Digital Radio Club in order to encourage radio amateurs for active work on the air with members of RDRC from Russian Federation by 16 modes of digital radio communication CONTESTIA, DOMINO, FT8, HELL, JT65, JT9, MFSK, MT63, OLIVIA, PSK, ROS, RTTY, SSTV, T10, THOR, THROB. Dupe QSOs are counted on different HF bands and different digital modes on the same band. All diplomas is issued to SWL operators. Starting in 2021, applications will be accepted and diplomas will be issued electronically on the AWARDS CENTER OF RDRC website. Details of application submission will be published later in this text of the rules of this award series. The crediting of  QSOs (SWLs) for diplomas begins on the date of formation of the Russian Digital Amateur Radio Club on March 21, 2014.

Each of the 3 diplomas "Russian Digital Radio Award" is an independent diploma and applicants can perform them in any order:
- diploma for radio communications in digital modes PSK, RTTY: for applicants from Europe - 2000 QSOs, from Asia - 1000 QSOs, for applicants from other continents of the world - 500 QSOs;
- diploma for radio communications in digital modes of CONTESTIA, DOMINO, HELL, MT63, OLIVIA, ROS, SSTV, THOR, THROB: for applicants from Europe - 1500 QSOs, from Asia - 500 QSOs, for applicants from other continents of the world - 100 QSOs;
- diploma for radio communications in digital modes FT8, JT65, JT9, MFSK, T10: for applicants from Europe - 2500 QSOs, from Asia - 1500 QSOs, for applicants from other continents of the world - 500 QSOs.

During each calendar year, the RDRC organizes several days of activity by all the above modes of digital radio communications, as well as four contests. Detailed schedule and provisions of these events are published on the club's website rdrclub.ru.

We invite all radio amateurs to take an active part in the events organized by the Russian Digital Radio Club, 73!
