JT9 Activity Days «Make haste slowly» on 9 SW bands were held on August 30 and 31, 2025. Reports sent by 166 radio amateurs. They are representatives of 44 regions of Russia, as well as radio amateurs from 19 foreign countries from Asia, Europe, North and South America. We would like to thank the radio amateurs who supported our ninth JT9 days of activity. Certificates were issued to all participants and published on the RDRC Awards website. Prizes were awarded in four contests.

For the 1st place in the world the #1 certificate is awarded to Valery Savin R0LM - 253 QSO and 1.517.047 kilometers. The second diploma is for Nikolay Stupak RC0JD RDRC#1647 - 227 QSO and 1.150.158 km; the third - at Sergey Yashchenko R0LER - 200 QSO and 1.091.925 km.

We congratulate the owners of prizes, which became winners in four contests::
• «A picture is worth a thousand words» - In this contest, a lottery prize with the participant's call sign and the RDRC emblem was drawn among all participants who conducted long distance radio communications with correspondents at distances over 10,000 kilometers. The prize was won by Sergey Shvedov R4HIA RDRC#1456 - 2 QSO and 27.155 km.
• «As the call, so the echo» - in this contest the prize was drawn in a lottery between the participants with a result of over 100,000 kilometers. Alexander Simonov won R7KKO RDRC#726 - 239 QSO and 612.210 km.
• «Half a loaf is better than no bread» - in this contest, the prize was drawn in a lottery between the participants with the best results on the bands. The winner was Valery Savin R0LM - 638.100 km (102 QSO) at a band of 15 meters.
•  «Practice makes perfect» - we raffled off three souvenirs of the RDRC "magnit with thermometer" in a lottery between participants who sent spots to the RDRC Digi spots. The winners were Nikolay Vdovin R2EN RDRC#1688, Valery Gurtovtsev R4HLG RDRC#1910, Evgeny Korzukhin R8CDE.

To determine the distances, the Vincenti formula was used, since it gives a more accurate result. To calculate this method in the PERL program, module Geo was used: Distance. Coordinates were taken from the gridsquare and my gridsquare fields of the logs sent. If there were no locator data in the log, their values were taken from the file call3.txt, which is used in the JTDX program.
