On March 22 and 23, 2025, the T10 activity days «Made in Russia» were held, dedicated to the 11th Anniversary of the RDRC. Our club was founded on March 21st, 2014. 192 amateur radio operators sent reports. These are representatives of 57 regions of Russia and 19 foreign countries. Three prizes were raffled off among the participants of the activity with results of more than 100,000 km. Congratulations to the winners of the prizes with their call signs and the club's emblem, which were Alexander Kutsenko R3ZBD RDRC#1948, Viktor Petrenko UA4SJB RDRC#909, Evgeny Kozhevnikov RA9YOU RDRC#1972. Valery Savin R0LM - 240 QSO and 1.293.368 kilometers are awarded the certificate for 1st place in the world in terms of total distances to correspondents. Among the foreign participants, Roland Gubitz DL5NAV has the best result and 6th place in the world - 222 QSO and 586.969 km. Yuri Snegovoy 4J1001SWL took the 1st place among the SWLs. We would like to thank everyone who took part in the Celebration of the 11th anniversary of the RDRC.
Certificates were issued to all participants on the RDRC Awards website.
To determine the distances, the Vincenti formula was used, since it gives a more accurate result. To calculate this method in the PERL program, module Geo was used: Distance. Coordinates were taken from the gridsquare and my gridsquare fields of the logs sent. If there were no locator data in the log, their values were taken from the file call3.txt, which is used in the JTDX program.
